woohoo my timetable was out today. haha. woke up at 10am to give boarie a morning call and soon after i received a sms frm shuling telling me that we r classmates. tried going back to sleep bt failed! my mind kip thinking abt the timetable haiyo haha. so woke up and checked.

shuling checked and told me that jeryl, rosanne, trina, herself and me are gonna be classmates. i further checked to find out jenny, poh leng and martin are gonna be my classmates too! i guess it's time to plan who to grp wif for projects? haha! realli hope my class would be a v fun class to be in. i heard frm my senior that next sem, the whole class would work tgt to run an event as a project. so, im definitely looking forward to that =D sounds v fun la haha

i spent half the day doing this today haha.

presenting to u, the 4 core modules i would be taking this coming sem

1. Principles of Corporate Communication
This subject provides you with an overview of the principles and practices of corporate communication. Topics will include corporate communication strategy, internal and external stakeholders, corporate identity and image management, corporate advertising, crisis management and corporate communication challenges.

2. Corporate Journalism & Publications
This subject provides you with the essentials of corporate writing and speaking, including how to craft articles and speeches for different occasions, and organise them into attractive packages which target different audiences. You will plan, develop, present and evaluate various corporate literature: company newsletters, corporate brochures and annual reports. Visits to production houses will form part of coursework, as well as presentations by industry professionals.

3. Club & Resort Business
This subject will go through the various definitions and classifications of club and resort business, resort planning and development, as well as operations and marketing of clubs and resorts. It will give you an appreciation of the operational challenges clubs and resorts face.

4. Travel & Leisure Business
The subject provides you with a macro-view of the tourism and leisure industry, its history, the structure of the industry, the environment, the dynamics and issues facing the industry, with a focus on the key business players in the industry.

and also, 5 hrs of Communication Skills 2 per week.. gosh =.=

BHT2005 Event Management

i saw this key word.....

The subject introduces the scope of events and their application in the context of the tourism industry. From this macro perspective, you set out to build a foundation in event conceptualisation, development and production, covering topics such as marketing of events, human resource management and budgeting and staging.
